We’re saving space for door sales at $40 on the day. Doors open 10pm until 1.30am lock out when the party continues inside.

We’ve got some of Sydney’s hottest DJs playing uplifting house and classics including Alex Taylor, JimJam, Kate Monroe, Dirty Nelly, Jonny Marsh and special guest from LA, Jonathan London.

Venue

Higher has exclusive use of Home’s Rooftop level with two pumping dance spaces, including the iconic glass-walled Terrace room, and a massive outdoor space boasting spectacular views over Darling Harbour.

Entrance

Entrance to Higher is via the rooftop of Home, so take the middle escalators in Cockle Bay Wharf to the top level, then walk back round towards the venue. We’ll have signage up on the day.

ID requirements

No ID no means no entry, no matter what age you are or how old you look. Under 25 year olds will need 2 forms of ID, so in addition to photo ID such as driver’s license, you’ll also need a bank card or Medicare card or similar.

Dress code

Forecast is warm! Feel free to dress appropriately. Singlets, short shorts, club wear etc. are all fine. Whatever you feel comfortable in! Just remember no thongs please.

Forecast is for SUN! So dress appropriately. Sunnies, singlets, short shorts, club wear. Whatever you feel comfortable in! Just remember no thongs.

Cloak Room

The venue is not able to organise a cloak room for this event so please don’t bring lots of bags and extra items. There will be places to store bags around the venue but these will be unsecured areas.

Last entry at 1.30am

You will not be able to gain entry to any licensed premises after 1.30am, even if you have purchased advance tickets. Get in early to the parties as we anticipate everything being busy! Advance ticket holders will be prioritized at all events. We recommend grabbing tickets from www.seriessydney.com.au/mardi-gras to beat the queues. Door sales will also be available, but get in early.

Last drinks at 3am

Final orders for alcoholic drinks at all bars and clubs will be taken at 3am. Our parties will keep going past this time, however, late into the morning.  You may order multiple drinks before 3am (within reason and RSA guidelines). The bar will remain open for soft drinks and energy drinks, until the club closes. At any parties that stay rocking til after 5am, alcohol service can resume. We’re committed to keeping the full, late night club experience going through the lock outs.

We caught up with him to chat about fitness, getting naked, and taking over the world.

Fitness, porn, modelling and club shows. You sure like to keep busy – but which do you enjoy the most?

I love bodybuilding the most and shooting my workout videos where I just get to look pumped, surrounded by mirrors, act goofy and FLEX!

How long have you been bodybuilding for? How did you get your body to the muscle mass that it is?

I’ve been at the iron for fifteen years. Seriously training for maybe eight of those. The journey from my naturally very lean physique to the muscle beast I am today has been long one with a shit load of hard work. Too long to write here but in summary I educated myself on how to train properly on the gym floor, I forced myself to eat more and I stuck steroids in my ass.

Do you ever get uncomfortable being naked in front of others?

Never. But as my fans know I was socially challenged as a teen and there’s even times now when I have to “perform” and I can feel shy and inadequate.

You’ve been travelling quite a bit – where did you go and are you pleased to be back in Sydney?

Shit. Um… London, USA, Spain, Argentina, Canada, Italy, Belgium, Ireland, Thailand, and France. Australia will always be home but for my career there’s way more fun and recognition to be had overseas.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

Can I cheat and just tell you the two highlights of last year? First was getting drunk at a hooker bar in Madrid with Bruce La Bruce. But that was topped three days before new years when Denise Richards twittered me. For those of you that don’t know me, my surname is based after her.

What’s next for Rogan?
